| Il Grand Jury Europeen ha riconosciuto il prestigio dei nostri Barolo. Barolo- Bourgogne : 7 a 3! |

The Grand Jury Europeen, the famous jury, whose president is Francois Mauss and whose members are authoritative wine masters coming from 13 different countries, which judges the great wines from all over the world, decided to organise in December 2006 a session of 4 days in Piedmont (Tenuta Carretta) with a unusual and exacting theme: to compare 50 Grand Crus and Premier Crus from Bourgogne with 60 Barolos, all from the same vintage 1999, one of the best over the last decade. |

For all the Italians it was already well known that Barolo is a prestigious wine, an excellent wine, but the fact that also our European neighbours consider it so important is a brand new news for us. We know a lot about Barolo, but we are obliged to make a little note about the Bourgogne wines, which have a really historical and fruitful tradition, a huge fame worldwide, that allowed them to participate at the most famous auction sales, reaching the top of quotations ranking. |

The results of the comparison of Grand Jury Europeen between Barolo and Bourgogne were excellent for the Barolo and were published by the press at the beginning of January 2007. Astonishing was the Barolo with seven of the top-ten positions of the ranking, the other three positions are occupied from 3 of the most important crus of Bourgogne. |

We are really enthusiastic for the great success of our Barolo TRIUMVIRATUM 99 , which had 93,45/100 points. It was another confirmation for the Italian oenology, which was highly appreciated even by the rest of Europe. Link to the Robert Parker's on line forum: |
